That's his wife with him in the studio portrait and in a post war photo. WWII Estonian cigarettes below the M39 grenade. The label is in Estonian and German. The Tunis 1943 pin on the Luft tropical hat features a camel and a palm tree. The tropical eagle was cut off a tan tunic. The pilot is a Knights Cross holder KIA in North Afrika (signed on front and back). The Army close combat knife was a bringback by the guy who the US dog tags belonged to. Have his papers where he shipped to the Pacific Theatre after leaving Europe. Allison engine manual for mechanics to use in the field (printed by GM). The chevrons belonged to the same 101st Airborne vet that the 101st Airborne Bavarian Alps Guide belonged to. It was printed by their Special Services section. I also have his 1943 map of the Cotentin peninsula Normandy featuring Carentan and Ste Mere Eglise. The cannister is for a 1943 thermite grenade. The 1911A1 is a 1944 Remington Rand. The display was hastily thrown together for a militaria show. Now that my kids are off at college and I have a room for my stuff maybe someday.........
