    101st ABN DIV.

    Fellow WAF Members:

The Don F. Pratt museum, FT. Campbell, KY. 101st ABN DIV.

I would like to take a great honor to share with you a collection that should belong on the virtual museum forum. However, as a proud active duty member currently assigned to the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 502nd INF,
101st Airborne Division (AASLT) I will therefore assume the pleasure to extend this showcase on behalf the sacrices of the brave Soldiers, fallen comerades and thier familes.

This first slide is the only picture I'll submit of my BDE HQ's show case located in the hallway enterance:
    - Oil painting depicts the 502d bayonet charge at the Carentan causeway led by COL. Cole (MOH)
    - Just out of the picture the LW helmet was captured from Bastogne.

Anytime during the day if I need a fix all I have to do is walk down this hallway!

The Flag in this reknown photo was liberated on D-Day and donated to the museum by the holder in this picture. The flag in the show case in the following 2 pictures is the actual flag. My mind wasn't focused at the time to take a close up of the narrative and picture in the show case. You can see the provance just next to the flag in the very next picture. I will follow up with this and post on the flag forum next week with explicite details.
