Wonderful collection. Good to see full size mannequins with kit applied.

Hello, very nice collection. I'm very interested to see how your display is in the internal part of Fallschirmjager helmet without create damage on the liner. It is possible? Thanks

Thanks for your interest. The helmet stand has a flat plate and a car wash sponge on top that fits firm on the sides of the helmet therefore the bottom edge of the metal liner rim portion rest on the stand plate which is completely obsured and this plate supports the main weight extremely reducing any imposed weight on the leather liner system.

I use these sponges in my M-43 caps and some visors as you can see for display to support and to minimize stress on the hat or helmet liner in this case.

This M-38 helmet is posted on the helmet forum under "Mecklenburg M-38" (1st page) There are interior shots for your assesment.

I hope this information assists you.

Sponge provides a snug yet gentle support for visors and great shaping support for M-43's. I'm not sure if any side affects result from the substance of the material. This sponge is basically plastic should be no problem!

Many thanks! Your system is very simple but at the same time very nice to protect liners and headgears in general.
Many thanks again...I think to copy your system...if you don't want royalties
