Hi John,

I can see the bottom is clearly a fake, but the middle is not so obvious, but of course, in the hand they might be easier to tell.
The differences are so subtle and slight, might they not be manufacturers variations? I assume not, and I know one of the fake set's I posted on the hat thread and on the heer fake cloth thread is probably the same as the middle example you show here.

So this one is an original dak cap eagle, my only one.

The middle one is the exact one you posted in the fake thread

But if you collect mint ones
There is a better way to tell :the back side(just tottaly unfold the one you have) I bet there are the same linings that I Pointed out on the fake

Thanks for the comments, and between what you and Fred have previously shown, I knew about the tell on the backs, its more if these things are attached that problems could arrise.

Thanks for helping us newbies by posting your great collection, probably a dumb question but is there more than one manufacturer making "BeVo" style items? If so are all these posted actually BeVo or a mixture and how can I tell the difference? When I bought war badges I got humped with a few fakes so this time I'm asking before buying too much LOL

Hi friend this an example of this Eagles manufacturing in Spain for tha memebrs of the Spanish blue division ,250 Division. it was manufactured when the first Spanish voluntares came back to Spain in 1.942-43-44. and post war.
