Great display Sunny. Nice pictures aswell. I have a question regarding the pictures. Are these mirrored? Because most m42 jacket on pictures have the eagle on the other side. Right side for the vieuwer. This one has it on the left side. I don't know if there were strict regulations regarding the place of the insignia. I was wondering

You can find period pictures [a few by the way] where you can see some guy had their patch on the right side.

I had receive many emails asking if I have replicas in my grouping. To answer them I had included this picture where you can see a RED cross on every items that is a copy. Because this is not my main line of collection I decided to cut some expenses on some items either because they are to expensive or not easy to find.

This is what happen when you expose yourself to the HBO mini serie Band Of Brother. The best ever made movie on WW2 US paratroopers.

The eagle patch should be on the wearers left shoulder. I also would not include a 1911a1 .45 either as very few paratroopers had side arms, especially enlisted men. Try and include a reinforced jump jacket (which will more than likely have to be a repro) and it will look very authentic. Oh, also leather gloves, four grenades.

How about a nice O.D. oversea's hat w/ para patch or mesh jeep cap, that would be fitting too.
