    Hi mackadoo:
Did you ever sell stuff at the Peanut Butter Warehouse on the Strand?
I bet you found some of your stuff there. I'm glad to see the island picking up and running again.
I was in "A Place in Time" a few month's ago, high water mark about 9' - 10' above the street. "Colonel Bubbies last genuine army/navy surplus of the free world" is no more. Commander Meyer is gone, RIP.
    Will be there soon. John

u from the island? Yeah sad story bout the colonel, but they are still going, I don't know how long for though... as far as the PB warehouse I've never found one item there even though I used to frequent it and I always thought that one day something would pop up in there, but it never did... and as far as selling goes, I have never sold any one TR item, I only buy! And. As far as somewhere in time goes I am good friends with the owner there, she calls me whenever she runs across something for me, and in the little less than 3 years that I've been on the TR hunt she has called me only twice once for a tinney and then last week for the swastika patch that I posted on here a few days ago that turned out to be american!

Nice stuff. You collect just like me. No particular method. I just get what strikes me as interesting at the time.
I didn't know Galveston had any militaria shops. I spend the summers on the other end of the island way down south. Rode that hurricane out last season.

          Hi great collection.....
You and me both mackadoo. When I started I had 1 peice for 2 years before i purchased another, so it was slow for me as well. Looking at some of the collections of SS uniforms and other big money items on here, this hobby is not cheap! That slows me down for sure, and..... my wife! lol

          great collection keep it up,
          Chris
