My new project

Hi Fellas,

I just started a new project. I've been thinking of making a LW normandy EM setup. Keeps me bussy for the time beeing.

But first things first. I had to make some space in my 'war' room. Fortunately this was no problem. In the corner still enough space to create a new project.

The next thing was looking for a new cabinet. I like my mannequins setup in a glas (safe) environment. Dustfree and free of the little hands of my childeren. I looked for some time for a case that was big enough. Finally for 20 Euro(s) i found a nice second hand case. A hell of a job getting the case in my war room but once there I could start and clean it.

Oke, the case in place and cleaned. I still needed a new mannequin. Waiting, looking, waiting, looking......finally i found a small mannequin that would fit my case. Ding, dong....mail....yes...it is in...

Still had to find out if the mannequin would fit the case. You never know for shure. But no problem. Hans has found a nice new home . It fits nicely.

Finally, because Hans told me he was cold it could give him a pair of drill trousers and a M31 zeltbahn for the time beeing. The only thing that was a bit of a dissapointment was the fact that my nice M40 SD helmet would not fit. Hmmm.... maby i will give Hans a M43 cap...

Well, this is it for the time beeing fellas. When Hans gets his equipment and more I will post new pictures. Hope you enjoyed it as mutch as I did.

Hello Jac,

Nice display case for a good price. I really like these mannequins, small body but unfortunately their head is big. You need a size 58/59 cap or helmet.

I'am suprissed that those mannequins fit in the dispay cases.

You need a size 58/59 cap or helmet.

Or bigger when you're lucky like me.
59 doesn't fit that good at mine mannequin.

Hello Fellas,

I have been away for some days (Maastricht) so I was not able to reply as fast as I would like. Next to Maastrich I also visited Arnhem and Oosterbeek. Very nice place with great historic background. Beautifull weather as me and my wife walked the "perimiter walk" in Oosterbeek.

Thanks for the nice reply(s) . Sharing our collections is nice but it is far nicer to get positive feedback from fellow collectors.

The display case and mannequin are from sites like Ebay.

As soon as i made some progres I will post new pictures. (could take some time).
