            Hi Mark,

Awesome!!! Looks like you were a proud parent showing off your children. And I can't think of a more appropriate audience. As always, your collection looks quite impressive. Even had a nice Pickelhaube! And the $1 frames made a nice touch.

Amazing collection of uniforms. The back of the van shot looked like a scene from an early eighties synth-pop video. Very cool!!

                Hello Mark

A very impressive display you have there, imagine if all the generals were alive and wearing their uniforms in the one room there, the display really brings them to life.

Now that was really something - both the items themselves AND who you did it for. I am most impressed.

I share your pain at the oversized mannequin problem. I've 'quartered' many a one on the ole table saw.

                    Hey Guys,

I can't thank you enough for the kind words.......

Dave......The vets did really enjoy the display...... I was a little worried about displaying the German stuff.. which is why I also took so many others.. but to be honest.. the only negative comment that I heard was against the Russian.. go figure ! (but there was a couple of 'sneers' at the German tunics).....

Dave (Sarge).... There has been more than one torso that has been through the Avery Inquisition... not to mention the full mannequins that have had 3 - 4 inches 'removed' around the ankles.. or to have the front part of the feet removed...... Hell.. I even play the Phantom of the Opera music while I'm working in my garage for the neighbors.. They must think they are living next to a relative of Jeffy Dahmer !

All in good fun though.. as they all know what a weird hobby I have... and no one has called the police at this point

Dez...... I often wonder that myself... especially when I see Imperial German Parades etc....... .... Or 3rd Reich parades etc.. it must have been an awesome display !

Yuri... I never thought of that... but I think your right !

John..... I brought the spike as a conversation starter... problem was.. the whole display was a conversation starter and being such.. I had a hard time spending time with everyone....... and the only item that everyone 'had to touch' was the Spike.... (I was going to place 'do not handle' signs.. but I ran out of room on the table....

Slayer..... Thank you.. the display actually turned out better than I had hoped... not bad for a Bottom Feeder

                    Cheers
                    Mark
