Love the Sonderverband patch. I think I have only seen 6 or 7 real ones for sale in the past decade. Is that a framed Africa campaign medal document hiding in the background!?!? If so, would love to see a closeup

Yes it is. Here ya go. Supposedly the medal is the original to the document. Also in its original frame. Matt

Great stuff. I love your DAK camo and I gotta give you kudos for picking up the unissued Sonderverband 288 patch. BTW, cool drivers document and you are correct it needs to be framed with the badges.

Very nice document and missing from most DAK collections including mine! I would recommend changing the framing materials to acid free (if they aren't already) with UV protection glass to protect the document from yellowing & acidifying. You could still keep the original frame if you wanted. JMO as I would hate to see such a beautiful & rare document fade.

I was thinking about doing that when I take the other document in. Its such a nice piece and then I could get the medal framed with it. I am in need of the afrika cuff title and the afrikakorps cuff title document. Matt
