      Hello All,

      Thanks for the nice comments
Working on a project and the search for items for the right price is almost as much as fun as having it in your collection.

The forrest on the background looks like a forrest in the Nijmegen area called de duivelsberg wich means devilsmountain.
During the liberation the 82nd airborn where involved in very fierce batlles against a mixture of germans troops.
Today the traces of war are still vissible in this area.

            Very nice!

Waar heb je die vitrine kast vandaan? ik zoek nog zo'n brede.
            Zeker niet van Ikea?
I'm collecting anything related to the towns Castricum and Bakkum during WWII.
Also soldbucher from 116pzdiv. And 1944-1945 eastfront pockets, kampfgruppe and Oder front.

magnificent collection, these dummies are great and this showcase is pretty cool. What I liked is that I map that appears at the bottom of the window, I ask you, jeje.
              Congratulations and keep looking

                Hello,

                Thanks for the nice comments!
@Scott: Yes, the Euling photo's are one of my favorites!
As you know he won his RK for the defence of the nijmegen bridge near my old house.
@Rick: de vitrinekast komt van de Leenbakker, ik geloof dat deze nu zelfs afgeprijsd is voor 99,-. Ik had liever een antiekekast gehad maar die zijn vrij prijzig en moeilijk te vinden.

The photo you have used for your backdrop is striking. I don't believe I have ever seen a more natural looking display backdrop. Bravo!!!!!
