Next up, the ribbon bars. having owned literally hundreds of these ribbon bars over the years, these three remain very special to me. Top bar is the grand slam, with all three NSDAP awards, next is the ONLY 2X RAD with silver device I (or Rick Lundström) has ever seen and finally, only the second real SS Long Service device I've ever seen.

My badges have been naughty!

Yep, in honor of the new MA regulations regarding same-type unions, my badges have been fruitful and multiplied!

Rick; I must say you always seem to come up with simply the best of the best in awards and badges. Seems every time you post a pictures its ether cased, in its packet or minty fresh.

I also notice there isn’t much you haven’t owned, ribbon bars, high end awards, can I ask you, what would be your holy grail item of all items?
Is there something you haven’t owned or would like to own, if so what would that one, must have, piece of a lifetime be?
Sure you could say Gorings medals or all the Kaiser’s awards but im sure you will have a different answer for us.

Well, if it could only be one piece...

... I'd have to say it's the PLM, or Blue Max. I'd love to have a real one, with provenance, to an Imperial Pilot. (Deep sigh) I've never owned any combination of the Knight's Cross, so that would probably be #2 by choice, but #1 by reality!

My Imperialoids have demanded equal time!

So, without further ado... the best Imperial Flight Badge collection on the east coast. The Bavarian Pilot is cased, as is one of the Junckers pilot badges. I have a second cased Juncker Pilot enroute from Germany now!

Forgive my ignorance on these but what are the one's with the black and red quartered square at the bottom........are they Austrian by any chance or am I barking up the wrong tree.

Great collection, there can't be to many collectors world wide with that many.

Hi Marcus, the one with the little enamel "flag" in the center are Imperial Observer's Badges. Like those a lot, but looking for several of those myself!
