Nice collection representing many years of hard hunting....although I have two comments to improve the fassaud...one is : 1. Get a home steamer with the tube you hold, and the steamer sits on the floor , and has a place to hand the uniform off the floor(they are not all that expansive) to remove the wrinkles to save on dry cleaning some of the American uniforms that are cotton, and then:2. find a friend who would (pro bono) give those wigs a blast, and cut them to be correct for the times, and since you get no second chances with wigs, make sure they are also a professional wig , or hair stylist....don't try it yourself unless you are a licensed professional barber-stylist or beautician. These two comments alone will really fine tune the visual effects , if you are successful in finding the right person to assist you.
Very nice all around collection, and display. You may also want to get an airbrush to help with their make up...and a few sets of original ww2 line up the back silk nylons...I recently saw several mint sets of them in a vets lot, and thought there must be someone out there whould would really enjoy having original nylons that used the old garters...but unfortunately I knew no one that has your interest in the female uniform collecting , or I would have snagged them (not literally) for you....as...during the war , a soldier could just about get anything he wanted from a woman who could not find any real nylons ,(and so many dew lines up their legs to fake like nylons ......oofda! and Ooh...La ...La !
I rate the display as it is at 8 on a scale of one to ten...but if tuned up just a little as mentioned...It would definitely be a 10 . You are to be commended for an outstading exhibit and posting.(nice photos also) now you need more WAC stuff...but it is getting pretty pricey, and many familys will not turn it loose.
I had a complete womans uniform from the USO shows I sold to notorpole some years back, and met the woman who owned it...that really would have fit the bill for your display...You remind me of marshall daut who used to have a whole apartment full of imperial soldiers in complete garb and weapons , he long ago sold .(what a collection he had in tempe , in fact I introduced him to L.S. in the mid 70s while he was still a travel agent living next to kdkb)

This is just an excellent collection of uniforms. It's wonderful you represent all nations in which females served. Your German uniforms are very impressive. Especially your Marine Helferinnen uniforms.
My grandmother served in the United States Marine Corps during WW2. She saved all her paper work, uniforms and caps.
