Do any of you have any good tips on preserving medals and awards (avoid rust etc.)?

Preserving Medals

Hi Olav,
What I do/use is an container that when purchsed is a CDR/CDRW case (that come in a stack of 50).
I cut off the center peace and then had my wife sew a pouch to fit inside.
I then fill the pouch with rice (absorbs moisture) and lay my medal inside.
Also the cover protects them.
It dose not look to bad but so far it works for me.
