Here is a little less than a quarter of my insignia and SSI.

I cant wait till we move to a bigger place where I get a room to display like everyone else around here. The photo album is full of Vietnam to current insignia including ARVN ranger, Rangers, and SF and Vietnam Air Cav. I've got insignia in bags and drawers everywhere.

I fell for the Comancheros long ago when I discovered their web site and John Colliers amazing photographs. After that I had to have the pocket patches. The worn items are what I love the most. I dont have any for the Kingsman Retrievers yet but I will.

There is a variation I'm missing with the winged blades. Someday. Charlie Company was my dads unit during the 'Nam.

Some Cobra patches. I could put the Playboy patches with these since they were the first unit in 'Nam to get the AH-1. But then I wont have room for The Shamrock Guns and Copperhead patches I'm after.

Some loose items grouped together. The Low Level Hell and Guns-A-Go-Go are rare. I have an original 1st Cav photograph of an ACH-47A in-country. The 174th pocket patch is also one I cherish.

Im program manager for the restoration of BUC-3 which flew in Vietnam so the later version Buccaneer patch is dear to me as is the Flying Dragons patch. Now I need to score a Bikini pocket patch and I'll be complete.

The Razorbacks patch is in contention. Some say no, which I do as well and keep it as only a filler, others say yes. I'm looking for a full embroidered version.

My dad visited me once and I laid out all my WW2 items back when my focus was German militaria. He was upset that I didn't have anything to represent Vietnam units, especially Air Cav since it was near and dear to him and so familiar to me as a kid. Hopefully the next time he visits me he'll be happier about what I've put together.

A quick pull from my side of the closet... I still have an attic and a storage room. I need a freaking man cave or a nice small museum!!! I sold my WW2 Navy M1 and my WH M35 Double Decal last year or they would be here too.

The Italian maker SS crusher has been discussed here before. Some poo pooed it, others liked it. The eagle and skull are reproductions.

Thanks! There are not enough to be precise for Air Cav. I will make good on your request tomorrow. Right now the wife is making Napalm runs and I have to clear the bed so she can rest and breathe more fire tomorrow.

Italian camo trousers and top. These are dated 1963. Note this is the same camo pattern and color used by the Waffen-SS from captured stocks during the war.
