    PINTUS mannequins

I heard Pintus, a Belgian (?) firm, produces some nice mannequins. I cannot find them anymore on the web. Any info about this firm?
Where can I find some good mannequins to display my collection?
    Thanks for your help

Hi Paolo, I have not heard of the company that you were looking for? But here is a link to a Dutch company who have some nice mannequins, but they are not cheap:

Paolo, Ade, the Pintus-mannequins were indeed made by a belgian guy. They were very popular (realistic and strong) and could be bought at shows for around 250 Euros.

Now, the guy who made and sold them, is no longer in bussiness, I don't know the details but he had some serious marriage-problems,etc...

I know of a militaria-dealer in the Nord of France ( village of 'Mairieux', near 'the Fort de Leveaux'), just across the belgian border, who bought most of the leftover stocks of these Pintus-mannequins, he's selling them now for around the same price and still has some left.

I went overthere a week ago and bought myself only one for now. He told me that he's planning to restart production with the agreement of the former owner...so they will probably be available again soon I think. Alhtough they will not be sold via the net.

Mannequins.nl is TOP-stuff and therefore quiet expensive, but like Jos ( Wespennest) once stated in a thread : high-end stuff deserves high-end mannequins!

      Cheers

      Jan
