    My militaria room

    I want to show you my militaria room. It's a small room where my whole collection is kept. I can sit there and enjoy the items and read my books. The collection focuses mainly on german army, especially infantry. Also there are items of Dutch National Socialist organisations, NSDAP and SA.

          Dutch army cap

          Here is schiffchen of the dutch army and a army magazine. Along with it a medal from my grandfather who fought against the germans in May 1940.

            Kriegsmarine fotoalbum

            This is a Kriegmarine fotoalbum. It belonged to Richard Heider, sailor on the destroyer Z16, Friedrich Eckholt. Along with the fotoalbum comes a DRL sportsbadge booklet. In 2002 I managed to find the relatives of mr Heider and visited his grave in Germany.

              NSDAP and civil items

              These are my NSDAP and civil items like a mothers cross and Luftschutz medal. The pink paper is a membership card of the NSDAP.

                      Jeugdstorm

                      The Jeugdstorm was the National Socialist Youth movement in Holland. It was part of the NSB. I like these items very much. Look at the pennant and my avatar

                        NSB magazine

                        Here is a magazine of the NSB. These are pretty hard to find! Also on the picture the award document of the medal of my grandfather. You can see the medal on one of the previous pictures.

                          Foto albums, magazines and period books

                          Here are my fotoalbums, magazines (Signaal), and some period books like Mein Kampf.

                          Not on the pictures are some death cards, postcards, calendars, award documents and some other papaer items.

                              Very nice, Volkbert...I remembered when you've posted the M43 tunic a while back to ask for opinions, it's just a fantastic piece , isn't it? If I'm correct it came from Jessensrelics, I was to late back then...

                              Anyway, very nice collection,thanks for sharing it
