My small collection of 3rd Reich militaria and some other items.

    Good evening,
I have been looking at peoples collection here on WAF and I wanted to share my small collection of TR militaria and some other items that I think are cool.

    [IMG][/IMG]

My Hj Knife that is RZM M7/13

K98k pouch that is dated 1944 and an MP40 sling

The medals: WW1 German war cross, The Iron cross 2nd class, and a war merritt cross with swords.

A peice of history that is really sad is this Death notice of Alois Hackl who was a Corporal in a Grenadier Regiment and was a veteran of France and Russia. He was killed in action on the Russian Front on January 21st 1945. He was a recipient of the Iron Cross 2nd Class, The Infantry Assault Badge, A wound Badge, and a Russian Front Medal.

This is one of my favorite pieces in my collection, it is a Mauser HSc, and is a ww2 vet bring back. I don't have any of the capture papers for it but I looked up the serial numbers and it is a commercial build HSc that was built in 1943. I know officers often times had to buy there own pistols, so I asume it was owned by an officer being that it was a bring back, but who knows. It has the acceptance stamps with an eagle over n and another Wa mark on the slide.

Next up is the muzzle of my Russian Capture K98 you can see a whole pic of it in the first picture . It is a mixmatch weapon but the reciever and barrel are matching and it is an s42g, from Mauser Obendorf factory. its rear site is off of a k98 built in 1934! Any way in this pic you can see the muzzle cover that I put on it, and the discoloration of the barrel. Apparently the russians really like to use stove paint for whatever reason, and they put shelack all over the stock, hmm I don't know why but it is still part of the rifles history

This has to be my favorite item, the MG34, this example is a Dot 42, and is almost completely matching. This weapon unforntunatly was turned into a parts kit but I still love it! The person I purchased the kit from told me that this MG34 came from yugoslavia, which basiclly bought lots of surplus weapons after ww2, and or kept the weapons that were left behind. Well the reason these 34's look brand new was because they had the MG42 so they packed there 34's in cosmoline and boxed them away. Until they were bought and turned into parts kits for sale in the U.S.

Lastly I wanted to show a pic of some of my firearms, starting from top to bottom is a
    Lee Enfield No1 Mk4
    Inland M1 Carbine
    H&R M1
    RC k98 S/42g
    Mosin Nagant M44
    Tula SKS
M16a1 upper that I'm building into an ar15.

Thanks for looking at my small collection of items, sorry about some of the pics, I am new to posting pictures, but I hope you guys enjoyed these items

Nice collection! I like your Mg34... also your EK2 seems to be a Schinkel type...you could post some nice shots in the "Crosses forum".

                    Yes Sir,
The M16 upper was built by Colt. I looked up its stamps and from what I remember reading it was built in 1983

I found a small discrepancy on the tunic. The "I" is dotted differently on each cuff title does anybody know or have any idea why that is?
                      left cuff title
