    My Iron Cross Collection...

    Hello everyone,

Here are two photos - one of my entire WWI Iron Cross collection, and one of my entire WWII Iron Cross collection.

So, do I have "The Disease", or what!???

    TOP ROW (l-r): [EK2] Souval, unknown, S&L, S&L.
MIDDLE ROW (l-r): [EK2]W&L, Richard Simm & Sohn, JJ Stahl.
BOTTOM ROW (l-r): [EK1] Klein & Quenzer, Fritz Zimmermann, BH Mayer, early 1957 Deumer.

Many ribbon bars, which all have the EK2 ribbon - as you can see, I have a weakness for ribbon bars which also have the Ostmedaille.

Many thanks to association members Gary Cain, Ed Jackson, and Markus Schulze - almost half of the crosses in this collection came from them, and a couple came from other association members on the e-Stand.

    My Iron Cross Collection...

WWI Crosses. I have not been very good at determining makers on these, but there is one marked "KO" and one marked "S" among the EK2s. The EK1 is a vaulted screwback, with "800" on the back of the cross, and has the slanted center on the "W" (which have been observed on the DOV cores).

And I love that ribbon bar with the Sachsen-Meiningen Honor Cross for War Merit!

Comprehensive collection with a great focus - now on to the miniatures and lapel decorations!

I've been collecting EKs since May 2007.

Oh no! I have to draw the line somewhere!
I've so far limited myself to EK2 and EK1, and ribbon bars that have an EK2 ribbon.
