6 Months Worth of Collecting!

Here are some pics of my small collection. I "re-started" to collect about 6 months ago; I sold my original collection back in the 1980's to help pay for college.

That's not bad! Your restart is bigger than my original current one. I have found the hardest thing about collecting, (apart from the money) is actually finding little antique and militaria shops where the stuff is sold, which I think would be more fun than merely buying from the net. Cheers, CB.

OOPS!!!!!!

Thanks for reminding me Rich; I have (7) bayonets I didn't show. (1) German Eickhorn cof44 (unissued, w/wrong sheath), a MINT Japanese Kokura "Hourglass" (shown below), (2) mint Turk Mausers, and the other three are really beat Czech (2) and another Turk.

The only pics I have are for the mint Japanese. Did I say that it was MINT!!!

P.S. I have my sites on a nice "been there" WKC 2nd Luft vet bring-back right now.

I would never have had the confidence to jump back in the hobby (because of all the "good" fakes) if it wasn't for all the knowledgable people here. I have been reading this board many times daily trying to digest as much info as possible. I have posted most of my things on the board and so far everything has passed muster.

I bought some of the badges and misc. stuff from board members, a couple of other things from other internet sources, but the largest portion, suprisingly, has come from local antique stores! (At reasonable prices, even)
