im not sure if you used photoshop to edit the background of the photos. they look good, but i feel if you add a drop shadow effect, the photos would look more realistic and that the items would not seem to be floating.

overall i enjoyed your collection! you must have taken a long time to collect these quality pieces! well done!

Great display of winter wear! Next, you need to place all of it on a pair of mannequins. Show us more!

            Regards Steve

                Greetings,

I tried to add shades, but this wasn't possible with the program I was using.
Mannequins aren't comming, all uniforms are put away in storage for optimal preservation.

I'm glad you like my humble collection. Great to see that people with such vast collections appreciate this one...

I agree with everyone here Vincent. nice quality stuff. always cool to see various examples of the same piece. I also have a winter NCO Heer infantry set up. I prefer cold(er) weather gear myself over the "latest craze" of trop articles that are the hot item on the market it seems. Glenn

                    Glenn,

Has all that warm weather there in Florida caused you to long for a ice age type winter?

thankfully the mid 90's ended about 2 weeks ago. now the average afternoon temp here is about 88 degrees. believe it or not working construction in 88 is alot easier than 95. it really does make a difference. I dont know how my Guys do it sometimes. Id ask but I dont speak Spanish, but on that same note many of them dont speak English. I dont think I could function in temps below 55 anymore. Glenn

Very nice displays Vincent, thanks for sharing.

I noticed both of your Wachstiefel are of black leather. I have seen some with brown leather as well. Do you know if the brown examples were used by the Heer or another branch of service?

Most, but certainly not all, brown leather versions were issued to the Luftwaffe. These brown versions are less encountered.

                              Thanks for the kind reply
