Wow my friend. You've a really nice collection there! Congrats. So you're a veteran of III Reich collecting! I wish I could turn back time and buy many items like RKs at 600 EUR or less! Good eye that you had in the 70s man. I'm too young and nowadays, collecting this stuff is expensive, and sometimes depressing (fakes, and so on), but I think that when you get the bug, there's no turning back!

<O</OYes back then, - I did actually had a rather big collection, - for 14-16 years old. I doesn’t have any pictures of it But I recall I had 8 uniforms, 45 or so helmets/caps, none of them cost me more than €25 (those where they days ehh) and you could easily have an EK2 for less than that.
Every antic shop or flea market had them, by the numbers. But as mention earlier, - I lost a good del to some burglars (to day I would kill them, back then I just knock them around a bit, okay a little more than a bit ). And then the most, except some of the medals, and my books, where Sold. <O</O

But there where quite some fakes around back then and some where actually pretty good. There where a dealer from <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:City w:st="on">St. Louis</st1:City>, <st1:State w:st="on">MO</st1:State> I think WW2 collection or something like that? Help me out here guys. Never bought anything, - for obvious reasons, so can’t say anything about the quality of his stuff, - but the catalogue where a small book, - filled with stuff. I do however have some Weitze verkaufkatalogs from late 90, if anybody is interested; they can get them for next to nothing.<O</O

Now, - this is a kitsch thing, I have a book with it somewhere… Anybody recognize this fellow?

This is my setup on the staircase so far, I know it isn’t pretty, but I am looking for just the right mannequin. I am not sure about the jacket, again not my main area of collecting, but anyway here it is..<O</O

DonDon1 Thanks, - I liked it very much to, - late model with paper buttons. Unfortunately I do not know the providence on it. Bought of what I call a collectordealer on a local show.
