Thanks for the compliments guys! Usally I'm envious of other peoples items, but, it's nice to know I have one or two things that are appreciated as well!
Just a note to the tunic. I dont know exactly who the wearer was, but he was related in some way (I think fatherinlaw) to RK winner Peter Prien of the 3rd Pz Rgt and may have been an RK winner himself. There is also a belthook modification that is exactly like the modification in Priens jacket (Done by the wife or daughter?).
Unfortunately my friend who was going to ask the exact connection died a couple of years ago before he could get the answers for me.

Chris,
Thanks for that input! I had that info somewhere in my files, on another computer, and didn't have it hady at the time of the posting. It's a beautiful tunic that when I get a chance I'll try to research, if possible!
check out traces of cufftitles on both arms, could make research more interesting, if not more confusing.....
Chris,
I was going to ask you about that. The traces are more evident on the left sleeve than the right. Were the shoulder boards original to the tunic? It'll be an interesting project, but, if there was a cufftitle on the right sleeve as well, it might make it easier. Too bad you didn't get a chance to find out the name of the fellows that owned it!
