    Shadow box iron crosses

well sorry for the bad photo but was in a hurry, you get the idea tho.

i got this box in from another deal on e-stand that had patches and came with broken glass so i re-felted it and pushed in picture hanging hooks that are brass and hung the crosses on them. i think it came out ok for a quick collection?? thats a mecklenburg in the middle.

    what do you think??

    thanks greg

        Yes, very nice!

What would be the best way to suspend ribboned medals in a shadow box (without putting a pin or other fastener actually through the ribbon, of course)?

            How do you....?

I would like to read an answer to George's question. I do not know how to hang/mount EK2s with ribbons in a shadow box. I like my riker mounts, but would like to get some in nice boxes like the one above.

of your display? it looks like a really neat piece.

                  Hi George,
Please look at my response on how to display ribbon bars. You can do the same thing w/ribbons. Just place the staple on each side and thread your ribbon through and drape it over.

here you go, heres the photos of the two items you wanted to see.

ALSO you can put a iron crosses with a ribbon on the hook because i have one and tryed it and it hung on the hook just as the others and the ribbon stands strait up too.

What I do is create a false back and cut slits where I pull the ribbon through and that's all it takes to keep it in place. Very tidy, no pins or staples.
