    The Boys....

Here's two Heer officer sets from my collection. The Oberleutnant is a complete set (less the breeches) I picked up in Germany two years ago. ObLt. Hafen won the EKII, IAB, and Ost Front medal and also had the Entry into Czechoslovakia and Wehrmacht 4 year service medal. KIA when Army Group Center imploded in 1944. The set is stone mint as he only wore the waffenrock and cap 3X - once at his marriage...

The Arty light colonel I have no information on, unfortunately. The cap and trousers did not come with the tunic - I actually bought the tunic to complete the set.

    Enjoy!

Very nicely done Don. What about the KC? And...where did you aquire the mannequins? I do not use any for several reasons, not the least of which the faces never quite look complimentary of the clothes. But these have a neutral - although modern-looking face - and do well with how you are using them.

        Thanks!

Thanks, guys . Scott, I got these two particular guys from "Happy Trading Company" out of New York, which imports them from China. They were off eBay about a year and a half ago, and when they first listed, they put five on with no reserve and I nailed two cheap. Now they've learned and their stuff is unfortunately much higher. I like these because they are thin but still about 5' 11", so most uni's will fit.

As for the KC, it's a lovely "L/12" that I got from "World War II Inc." out of Kansas City about seven years ago for $20.00. I figured anybody who had to fight on the Eastern Front and die deserved a KC!

VERY nicely done. My sincere compliments. Would love to have either (well, both actually) in my collection.

Dave, after dragging the Oberleutnant over Germany, France and Belgium (a trip he may have made once before in 1940), I'll be keeping him for awhile!
