The man on the left is 1st Sergeant Roy S Worland who was a combat field medic during WWI and WWII, who is my great grandfather. Awards include Silver Star, Purple Heart, Army Good Conduct Medal, American Defense Medal, WWI Victory, WWI Occupation, Europe-Africa-Middle East Medal, WWII Victory, and Army Occupation Medal.
