Help required late war infantry mannequin

Hi guys right im looking for some help i have decided i really need my 1st mannequin i have limited space so its going to get moved quite a bit and with the tunics i currently own i would be really worried about causing any damage to them so i need some help i would like to start off pretty small Chest only late war Heer infantry man but made up of mint unissued pieces where possible i have a good K98 and pouches mint late war Belt and buckle so for starters i need the tunic and a Minty M42 ND helm so my first question is which was the end of the line late 1944-1945 heer infantry mans tunic?
Any help is greatly appreciated

I guess you would definetly be talking about the M44 short waist jacket or a last dich M43 tunic

Firstly many thanks for your reply Jamie right lets talk field gear what was the last type backpack to be issued? Sorry for all the pain in the bum questions but im really not a tunic/field gear collector so this is all a bit new to me

Ok doky, I suggest you take a look at the Militaria fest mexico post, you will se the mid to lat war arranging of gear.

maily the gear was used in a more of a comfort way rather than the strict text book, so put on bread bag with canteen, messkit hanging form the same side of the canteen. late war two pocket back pack, a 1943 issue Y straps with belt. 98K along with maybe G43 pouch or if possibel is $$ alows a MP44 pouch if you can find one.
