    Mexican "German-Militaria-Fest 2008"

Last Friday Jaime, Eduardo (Fuser1) and me, as passionate collectors of German militaria, along with 4 other friends from the 1/6-figure scale modeling hobby came together again to celebrate our this year's "Mexican German-Militaria-Fest".

The collections of everyone had grown, each in their own fields, so we had lots of new material to enjoy and learn from.

Jaime's mom (an angel!) prepared a very delicious Paella everyone enjoyed after having had a bowl of Fabada Jaime and I had prepared the night before moving all the different displays, etc.

Eduardo managed the appropriate musical underlay from his vast collection of German 30's & 40's "Hitparaden" (..how many GigaBytes were that again you said...??? )

But enough said, let the photos speak more about this great and fun night:

A lot of questions about several pieces were made, by our historically-interested, non-collecting friends....

Very nice! It is get togethers like this that make collecting fun.
One thing though, I didn't see any Mexican Adrian helmets on any of the tables
