Room 2 picture 8. These last two pictures are of the inside of the wall locker.Unfortunately theres not enough room to view the whole locker with my camera.
A hearty congratulations on a well-deserved retirement from your many years of service. I have 25 years in now, and have moved 7 times. Having around 60 mannequins, a posting is a serious pain in the a**. So I do know what you went through. Enjoy your new home! Tony
Tony to set the record straight I've been retired from the military for 5 years now. These last 4 postings have been because of my wifes job.Shes a Civil servant with the Army. Military or civilian these moves are like you said "a pain in the a**". I looked at your site"Most impressive WWI collection I've ever see." I don't envy you moving. regards Jim
I'd be interested in seeing more of the two Großdeutschland uniforms...close ups if possible?
Thanks,
Hi Scott,
The 2 GD uniforms are put together. When I was in Germany I saw quite a few GD tunics being offered for sale but in my opinion they were all put together postwar. Since many of the tunics I picked up over there were stripped of any insignia I just decided to make these 2 into GD ones. I can post pics of some of my cufftitles etc if you like.Regards Jim
I just love your display cases packed with the personal stuff! Is it possible to post some additional pictures of your DRK-schwester and Panzerschreck??

Hi Jan,
I love personal items as well as ration items. After a while you get overrun though.I'm pretty selective these days because of space.
I'll try to take some more pics next week.I need to move the items out of the room in order to photograph them. Regards Jim
