Reliving history, these pictures are from the well know Janusz Piekalkiewicz ‘Arnhem 1944’ book, these men are most probably Luftwaffe Feld Division men digging in somewhere alongside Hell’s Highway (the famous single road between Eindhoven and Arnhem). Most of my items are stashed away in boxes because of upcoming home improvement work but I added my sumpf FJ smock to this new mannequin I recently acquired, it got nice similarities with the Luftwaffe guy on the period pictures from the book, just a big boy (mind)playing with his toy’s.

Nice set up Meindert...

far from finished,

Thanks for all positive comments, the display is far from finished because of home improvement work all my items are stashed away in boxes. I haven’t decided yet if I portray a FJ or FD with this mannequin, here a picture of it wearing a M38 helmet.

Very nice set up. I think when you have finished it, it will be looking really good . Although i would give the mannequin some colour. it looks it has a lot of grey shades.

Thanks for the compliments Erwin, it’s the most realistic characteristic face I ever encountered on a mannequin, at the front they didn’t have time for sunbathing to get a tan.
