Gents,
My two HH purchases.
As many of you know, I am an unabashed mint collector and must say that this Army dagger may be the best conditioned specimen to survive the war. As you can see, the original lacquer and artificial patination is almost 100%. Many dealers will sell you a 'mint' dagger with almost no lacquer or artificial patination remaining whatsoever; this dagger has it all!
If you ever get a chance, I would highly recommend attending a HH auction. First of all, Munich is a great city and offers the very best in hotels, food, and beer! At HH, the staff speaks English, is very courteous, and provides excellent service. During the auction, the lots are displayed on a 64 inch Plasma flat-screen which greatly helps to track the pace of the auction and avoids confusion.
If others were successful, please post,
MIKE
