here are some more scans of Max Hoffers personalausweis and his dienstausweis.the personalauswies is only 2 pages from and back ,it only contains the basic information,height ,weight etc,with photo,the dienstausweis contains all the information that a werhrpass would,units, training,awards,personal info,work/battle entrys,it has about the same amount of pages as a wehrpass.posted first is the personalausweis.in Hoffers case he served as battalion commander for RAD units that were attached to both the luftwaffe and the army.he was attached to the luftwaffe construction battalions and he was attached to army units (army group south)in southern Russia in the Ukraine,one of his assignments was to a army ammo dump in the unkraine,one award that is listed in his dienstausweis and not in his personalakte file awards page is the wound badge,he was awarded the wound badge while with the RAD in Russia.
