    My China Cabinet-April 2008

    Hello folks,
I was bored tonight and I took some pictures. I thought I would share with you some of the odds and ends I keep in my china cabinet (stuff that I like and find pretty or odd). I even keep some toy soldiers in there as well.

    Regards,
    Jody

Shelf 1, besides the Beamte Pickelhaube, there is a Princess Mary Christmas Box, a Meissen Plate for the fall of Antwerp, a Bavarian beer stein, a beautiful patriotic braclet, and my favorite a cased Iron Crescent (very rare with case). The toy soliders are by Britain and King and Country.

The 2nd shelf (a few SA and SS things). BTW, the SS dagger is a RZM piece but was captured by a great-uncle in WWII (that was actually my 1st dagger). So I guess it was not bad to get an SS dagger for free when you were 8 years old. BTW, he captured the SS brassard as well. There is also a partial ground Roehm. The ribbon bar has a ribbon for the Silesian Eagle 2nd class.

The 2nd shelf (the wrist watch was captured at Dachau and has SS runes on it-no kidding):

The 3rd Shelf, as you can see it has 3 mint daggers and a mint Luftwaffe Flak beer krug(The KM is WKC, The Luftwaffe is by the rare maker Anton Wingen, and the Heer is WKC and it also has a WKC tag):

One of my favorite items is a WWII toy German U-boat by Arnold in near mint condition:

Before anyone asks, here is a photo of the SS wrist watch in the cabinet. It came from a veteran (now deceased) in the Phoenix area. This watch also came with a bunch of SS cloth-cufftitles, collar tabs, sleeve eagles, arm shields, sleeve shields, etc.

Jody, nice display. The type of display where one lingers and admire each shelf and then come back to it again and linger again. Jacques

I have liked much the presentation. In addition to which she enchants the clock, I it has liked much the base that you have put to him to pickelhaube, is magnificent. Greetings friend
