    Wehrwolf & Freikorps

Just thought I'd share this photo I snapped today. Larger pix are available if anyone is interested in a particular item closer up.

Well, here are a couple of skulls. The one on the left is quite a scare variant of the usual Prussian type. The one on the right is a real oddity.

            Thanks. I live in hope.

As a point of interest, here is the grave of Hermann Loens, who wrote 'Der Wehrwolf'. Note the wolfsangel. Today, a so-called verboten symbol.

His book is still in print after 100 years.

I think I posted this in the wrong section. I didn't know that postings here were by committee.

                    Hi Robin,
You have some wonderful things there. That is a cool area of the hobby that few know much about.

                    Regards,
                    Jody

I have long been interested in WehrWolf items.

Der Wehrwolf is an excellent book! A very good reading even today.
Interestingly , last week I saw one Heer leather belt produced by Edoard Hamann which bear also the wolfsangel marking. I'm on the look for one of those myself now

............the brass item above the membership book is a 'flag nail', removed from a flag pole.
