              That's a nice display you have Chris, on the matter of finishing your Mosin Nagant, I used boiled linseed oil when I stripped the shellac off mine.

                            One question - what are de-act period MP-44's going for in the USA? I'd really like to track one down someday...

                              Superb collection and nice to see the guns on display, Love the MG42 would like to get my hands on one of those ! As for deactervation , sad but at least theres no hassle owning them and they look great. Here in N.Z a deactivated gun would have to be licenced and stored with good security as if it were a live
                              firearm.
