    The shellac varnish was most likely applied by the Soviets. Stocks were oil finished then often varnished after an arsenal rebuild.

      Great collection. I would like to see more of the assault gun tunic. Also, very clever use of shelving material as gun racks!

              thanks for all your kind words,i came up with the shelf idea as it was all there holding my books up and i was to lazy to install a new shelf system.
              Airbourne steve the tunic is a repro are you sure you want more pics?

                          I would be interested to know a little more about the Luger... it is sad all those beautiful guns had to be deactivated though

                          I guess the only place to own working MG's is some states in the US... what a shame.
