    Hello All

I want to share with you my Schw.Pz.Jag.Abt 559 display.

First of all i want to thank Mr. Jerry B. for the pz jag shoulderboard with the Schw.Pz.Jag.Abt 559 slip on and Mr. Glenn H for his help.

    So thanks guys

This unit fought in Belgium and Holland around september-november 1944. It had 1 Jagdpanther kompanie and 2 stug kompanies. The commander was Franz Kopka.

Here an overvieuw from the display

On 11 september 1944 a tank from this unit destroyed a shelter with 17 civilians in it. 12 of them died in the shelter. The deathcard is from the 12 civilians who died that day. This took place in Lommel, a belgium town nearby the Dutch border.

The EKII document is from Gefreiten Ludwig Dangl from the 3rd kompanie.
It is signed by Generalleutnant Kurt Chill on 18 oktober 1944. Kurt Chill was the commander of the 85th Infantery division later Kampfgruppe Chill

The picture showes the last Jagpanther from Schw.Pz.Jag.Abt 559 which was taken out by the 1st Polish Armoured Division in Tweede Tol (Holland, moerdijk area) around the beginning of november 1944

The schoulderboard is from this unit. The slip on has an embroided P and 559 in pink thread.

    Regards Erwin

The photo is an original press picture made by the British or polish. The text is English. I will make a picture from the back.
The soldiers on the jagdpanther are from the 1st Polish Armoured Division
                Regards Erwin
