      This is the photo that was sold on Detlev. I missed it as they do not last long on the site. I tried to get it for you but not fast enough.

        That's a very nice picture Scott. Unfortunately i didn't see it and missed it. Perhaps it flies by in the future. You never know these days.

                Great theme collection, I for one, know how difficult it is to collect one unit, but just stick with it!

                              Thanks guys. Alan to answer your question it are indeed English shell fragments. They were found here, along with 20mm Hispano (typhoon) It was only to make the dipsplay

                                In 1942
                                Panzerjäger-Abteilung (Sfl.) 559 get 12 so called Panzerjäger II (Marder)(Sd. Kfz. 132 with 7,62 cm PAK 36) The 1e. and 2e. Kp. get each 6 Marder's.The document from 1942 is from 1 Kp. Panzerjäger-Abteilung (Sfl.) 559. Development of Marder II started in December 1941. Totaly there were 201 vehicles build. Mainly used in the east from april 1942 to early 1944, when they were taken out of service.
                                About the document Panzer-Jäger Abt. 559 (Sfl) Stamp of 168 Inf. Div. which is signed by General Major Dietrich KRAISS. The Unit saw action in the so called Don-Bogen at the end of 1942. KRAISS was in Normandy in june 1944 the commander of the 352e Inf. Div.
                                About the other document: Inf. Div. 85 stamp and named looks like signed by Generalleutnant Kurt CHILL (10.02.1944 - 07.12.1944 Kommandeur der 85.Infanterie-Division )
