    Picture on floor

Per Market gardens request, the picture next to the fireplace is an old german group picture (1912 soldiers). It's very cool, and will look great on the wall once I decide where.

        Lovely

Indeed, one of the most beautiful war rooms I have seen yet. My wife is from Wisconsin so when we go up to visit her folks, we drive through St. Louis. Perhaps on our next trip, I could stop and help you relieve some of the terrible overcrowding in there!
Thanks for giving us a look inside!

That's a good point. Any suggestions what would be a better badge? I got the uniform from Bill Shea, and it's a great addition, so I would like the right badge on it.

          Thanks!

I think the GAB would be good, or the Army Flak Badge

              Very tastefully done

I can't wait to have my own cat and bird free room to display in.

Nicely done Chris! Great decorated room and nice items also. A spiked helmet is a great item! Mmmmhh maybe I have to look for one also.

                  Inf.St.Abz.

Well, one didn't necessarily serve in the same arm of service for the entire war. It was possible to be assigned to an infantry unit, then be detached for training in field artillery, and end up in an Artillerie-Regiment. The possibilities are endless.

Thanks Richard, it does have a warm feel. (Ventless Fireplace doesn't hurt either)
