    Collection pictures

Here are a few pictures of some of my "stuff". This is about half of my stuff. The room is fairly new, so I don't have everything out yet. I'd love to here what you all think. Thanks for looking and I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

Here are three of my four gorgets. The other one is the political bearers one.

                Chris,

Great looking stuff that is nicely displayed. You've a lot to be proud of.

Bored?! I think not! Wonderful collection and superb display of it. I only wish I had enough stuff to even fill such displays...

                  Cheers,

                  Chris

Chris, nice place, nice stuff! I like those wooden curio cabinets. I'm going to get one of those eventually. They display well and all the pieces are dust-free. All you need now is a leather recliner, an ottoman for your feet, and a side table with a bottle of Port. Maps and edged weapons on the wall. Looks like a real great place to kick back and enjoy the hobby. Cheers, CB.

                      Chris,
A beautiful collection and room you have there. Very tastefully displayed...impressive! As a helmet collector, I also like the part wood/part clear plastic display stands you have. Are those of your own making or are they commercially available?

                      Cheers,

                        Helmet stands

Thanks for the kind words. I got the stands at the SOS show in Louisville KY last september. I've seen them advertised in the Military Trader Mag too. They aren't too much either, like $20.00.

                          Nice

Chris: A very nice and well displayed collection. Love that Picklehaube too ! You must be a bachelor or have a very understanding wife! I would kill to have a room in my house that is dedicated to my collection of stuff but unfortunately I don't have an understanding wife . Hey... what is the picture on the floor to the left of your fireplace?

                            Chris,
GREAT displays! I think that's one of the "spiffiest" war rooms I've seen; looks like a great place to kick back in the chair, watch the fire, drink beer and look at militaria!

What kind of swords are on the wall?

                            Regards,
                            Greg

But how did the Artillery Lt. win the IAB?
