Paul,

Well done on getting your site up and running from scratch in so short a time. There are many hideous examples of what you can do with html all over the net.

Your Edelweiss theme site is uncluttered, loads quickly and lets you find the content without having to click your way through a maze of navigation. Do keep it that way and avoid all the unnecessary eye-candy like inappropriate Java and Flash animations that just use up band width for no purpose at all.

Make it easy to use and people will view what you have to show them.

One minor thing did strike me. The use of the word "products" in the navigation suggests you have something to sell. Something like "collection" or "mountain troop militaria" might be more appropriate.

Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing your next additions.

Frosch, thanks for the comments, i hate flash sites too, there good for a new film site, eg terminator 3 etc but thats it. i also like it simple and quick to the point, ill try and find a better button then the "products" one, its a pre designed button in the software, and it was the nearest i could get.

Hi, just a note to say ive updated my collection site re mountain troops and edelweiss badges, books, postcard and stamp. if anyone out there has a army Narvik shield in a1 mint cond complete with backing / makers marks, let me know the price, i may be able to afford one for my site, i cannot post in the Wanted section yet
