Beautiful display Glenn, I wish I had the determination you have to make a set-up so complete as this is, great job done!, but I think you will even more treasure the moments you shared in the progress with your family collecting all these historical garments, for you this probably will be more than a dressed up mannequin, good luck to you all my friend.
the one thing your kit all has in common is that they were all made for the German Army!
DING- DING- DING! Weve got a winner! yes ALL are Army.
Actually I bet all your items are marked 1943.
With many regards. Steve
ahh, yeah, that too. theyre all dated (19)43 and maker marked eccept 1 equipment strap that is dated '43 and RBNr # for a variation example. still looking for a '43 dated RFNr # example. and the M43 grenade is dated '44, go figure. its got '43 in the damn model type but yet I never saw one yet with a '43 date. something tells me there are none.
too everyone who commented, WOW, didnt expect such great reviews. thank you so much as I really did spend countess hours making this project happen. (as I know all you do also so you know my pain.) it wouldnt be worth it if I couldnt post it here for all your viewing pleasure. thats whats great about this forum. Give a man an opinion and you feed him for a day,
teach a man to use the "search" function on the WAF and you feed him for a lifetime.
