    Hi First thanks for showing us your awesome collection all your items are but for me it's the Damascus swords,
    I can but assume that you are not a private or any other low rank if you are you must have acquired a lot of Saddam's gold.
    my displays are now burning nicely in the garden i need to start again.

            Wish I had his document!

            Nein, mine is Lt.d.R Hans Pfeiffer, Fhr. 2./Pi Btl. 97. RK 26.01.1942.

            Although Pioneer is not the most 'in demand' RK Mappe, the Hans Pfeiffer example has got be the very best to have survived the war. Even the most discerning collector would be hard pressed to find any aging to the document or any 'dings' to the Mappe. Came with the original outer carton, tissue paper, and three 'strips'.

                                Everytime I see your collection during your periodic postings my heart rises! A great collection indeed. May I ask if you could post a shot of your HeeresBurgFuhrer Abzeichen amidst some of your other pieces? That was a great piece as I remember.

                                I recently read one of your posts where you mentioned searching for a cased Nahkampfspange im Gold! Do you remember the one Kai sold 3 years ago that had all the accompanying documentation for the soldier to whom it was awarded including his letter of invitation to the ceremony? That is the piece for you if you can ever find it again among the collecting world! I wanted the piece badly but could not find the 18K Euros at the time.
