    Eric,
I came across this patch today like the one in your WWI
Marine Group display you might be interested in.

Thanks Charles, nice looking 5th MGB patch. Not really a bad price either for what it is. Any original patches from MG units are hard to find.

          Matthew,

If you like Marine gear, you might like this too. Uniform from L.Sitton, a Marine Raider Corpsman who won the Silver Star on at Bairoko Harbor.

Eric, being a former Marine myself, your USMC items are great to see! For those who may not know, the USMC has no medical personnel of it's own. The doctors and Corpsmen (medics) who serve with the Marines are members of the U.S. Navy. Corpsmen actually assigned to Marine combat units are authorized to wear Marine uniforms with Navy insignia, hence the unique set up of Sitton's uniform. This is still the policy today. His rank designation stands for Pharmacist's Mate First Class of all things. . A rare set, especially given the awards and unit affiliation. Great stuff!

Talk about rare items! The patches alone are worth around $400. Is his uniform complete? I can see his side cap laying over the side. Very, very cool!

Can you take a close up of the Raider patch?

                      Display!

Very nice collection and great display of some very hard to find
                      items.

Most guys would be happy with just 1 grouping and you have managed to put together some great info with the items.

                      Thanks for showing

That's odd. I had only one messege in my in-box ( and only two sent messeges ).

Anyway, if you still have problems, send to my email address.

Those Marine items are so beautiful. It hurts my eyes to look at them...kinda like looking into the sun. Were you a Marine Eric? If not, you seem to have a good interest in them. Thanks for collecting those items as well and thanks for sharing.

For those interested in the hat/helmet stands, I seem to have posted the wrong link. Sorry about that.

                              This one should work
