    Luftwaffe tropical

    Hello

I wanted to post some more pictures of my jacket on the DAk thread but it didnt work so I made a new thread if thats ok, anyone else have one to add would be great, am going to add some of my shirt soon also.

The jacket shows it once had a chevron on the sleeve and also you can just make out the fading from where the belt was worn. The shoulder boards are not origional to the jacket

This jacket is I believe the more common material type, I did see the other style once when I bought my trousers, infact the material was the same as the (later?) pattern tropical trousers I have, without the concealed button on the pockets

    Thanks

    John

The belt hooks are the same colour brown as the buttons and you can just make out the fading where the belt was worn

the jacket had no shoulder boards when it was bought, the pair on this were stitched together at some point?

looks a nice set, I would be interested to hear the history. The side cap looks nice, Berolina maker

Here's mine, a salty piece with multiple (field) rapairs...patched up (note right sleeve)!
Its also a "Peek&Kloppenberg Beha Berlin" maker stamped tunic!
These tunics are also found with stamps that read only "Peek&Cloppenburg", this means they were made by the Dutch "P &C" branch (Rotterdam factory but stores all over Holland) of this German clothing company...
Mine is used and abused... but original with original brown buttons! I like these!
