Hi Andy,

I love the Luftschutz in a case, Fire Cross is tarty as well. Is there any designation on the case lid for the Luftschutz.

Where are your posters you have more to this quality collection, come on get it all out.

And if ever you sell that cased Luftschutz, I asked first !

OK,there have been a few additions to the collection and a couple of departures since I posted this thread.The fire awards have gone as i'm mainly concentrating on Luftschutz/SHD and ARP.
Here's an SHD armband,which was actually worn around the cuff.
You can see where it has been folded down,the loose threads are where it has been removed from a tunic or a greatcoat.

This next one is an RLB officers cap eagle,it had a silver wash/finish at one time,some of this is still visible in the recesses of the eagle.

And the reverse,I really like this cap eagle!

Here's an inside out view of the SHD armband,showing the stitching and the creases/folds where it was folded down.

Here is a scan of the reverse of the armband as it would have looked once attached to the greatcoat/tunic.
Note the dirt and the rips where it has caught/brushed against things.
