    Gauleiter's Swastika lampshade

Holy Cow, what these wonderful Vets. brought back from the war. I obtained this today and am completely baffled as to which forum to show. The late Vets family states he got it out of a "German Governor's" home somewhere east of the Rhine. He later put together a lamp fixture using an artillery shell and a .50 cal slug. No markings on the shade. Best, Bill Bourque

I don't have the dimensions so I can't say for sure; but it looks like this shade would fit on the typical kerosene lamp that had been electrified. Now that would make an impressive lamp in anyones bunker.
