adds a bit of class to Dad's display...

I recently purchased a bronze plaque online. I was very pleased with the final product and feel it kicks up my dad's display a notch. Do a web search for International Bronze and check out their endless possibilities. They were good to work with and I had a very positive experience with them. The 10" by 6" plaque was 1/4 " thick and cost $275.00 including postage and handling. For those members with a family display this might be an option.

        hayleyp,

I'm not trying to blow you off but I've posted tons of pix of dad and pictures he took while in Europe. Do a search for "Mahlon Sebring" or the "319th Glider Field Artillery" and you should find plenty. I don't want to repost everything as it would eat up bandwidth. Try searching for posts in my name and see what happens. I'm a proud son of a WWII vet so I can take up your whole evening with stories.

Money well spent if you ask me, Greg. It complements your father's uniform and picture beautifully, plus... he deserves it! Your father is a true hero imho

          Great stuff!

Give a man an opinion and you feed him for a day,
teach a man to use the "search" function on the WAF and you feed him for a lifetime.

All comments are appreciated. As for the spelling of "Ardenne(s)", I found it both ways so I opted for "(Bulge)" after it. The plaque does weigh six pounds and has several ways it can be mounted. It might end up on dad's headstone someday ...or maybe just stay with the display when I pass it on.

Dad recently visited us when my son got married, He really liked the maps and "Paraglide" of his I had framed. He is going to give me two more "Paraglides" to frame. They are pictured below.
