Don't bother making an offer for the Waffen-SS camouflaged field cap with the insignia on it in the picture above. I have no confidence in it's originality. With that said, one might take great caution if dealing with the museum for some of their goodies. Many museums have reproductions in their collection. These are often donated and accepted as originals, or they intentionally buy a reproduction to fill a hole. I think a lot of museums figure that they are the experts in this field and that 99.9% of visitors wouldn't know good from bad anyway. I've seen some really strange things put together with even stranger captions! So be careful.

Roger That ,I see it from this picture that the eagle on the cap is defently a repro (and also a very poor one)
These caps are very very rare
The last time Gary Wood spoke about these caps he Mentioned there are
about 2 or 3 real ones he know
So better look for the holy grail hahahahhaha
