Hello forum...
here's some photos of my medals, buckles, and other stuff.
All items should be original... since... most (99%) were obtained directly from living WWII in the 1980's when I was in my teens.
From about 1988 to 2000.... I almost exclusively collected 1960's and 1970's GI Joe toys... and forgot about collecting military stuff.
On the WWI Iron Crosses.... most of the ribbons were damaged or missing... so... I bought a meter of original old stock to replace them. Silly me..
Anything look rare? I like the armbands the most.
There's a booklet on how to use a gas mask. A US GI wrote on the back page: "found in Martin Bormann's house."
The Jade Swastica (case #4 posting 6) with green cloth material is a book marker. It was supposedly found in Himmler's house or Villa. Well... that's what the vet said when he gave it to me 20 years ago.
