Nice collection gary, I have been trying for about 6 years to complete the collection of naval Schwerin, only the coastal artillery to go, funny you would think that it would have been one of the first I got not the last. Particularly like your 2-eboat, these are not often found with any kind of finish remaining.

Out of interest can you post a front and back of your Schwerin u-boat badge

I'm sorry to tell you but the Schwerin U-Boat you just posted is a well known repro.

The easiest way to recognize these is by the eagle in general and the eagles eye specificaly

Fake U-boat

Hi Gary,

Unfortunately I have to agree with Philippe on the U-boat badge, I thought it might be the case from the group photo but could not be sure which is why I asked for a close up. Well at least you know now, maybe you can return it.
